Anger Boils Over in Ajmer's Ganpati Nagar: Election Boycott on the Horizon

Ajmer-Pushkar Road’s Ganpati Nagar Colony, part of the Ajmer Development Authority’s Khatushyam Colony, is boiling over with frustration. For a quarter of a century, residents here have been struggling without even the most basic facilities. They're fed up with what they call outright neglect from the local administration.

The current situation is dire, with locals alleging that their pleas consistently fall on deaf ears. Things have gotten so bad that many feel the area looks worse than a typical rural settlement, despite being within city limits.

Decades of Promises, Zero Action

Dhapu Kanwar, a BJP worker active in the party for nearly 40 years, didn't mince words. She lashed out at both the local ward councilor and the municipal administration, accusing them of turning a blind eye to the colony's chronic issues.
