Daylight Heist Rocks Ajmer: Gold, Silver, Cash Stolen from Ghughra Home

Ranglal Gurjar, the homeowner, filed a report with the police detailing the incident. He stated that he had left for work around 9 AM on August 10th. Upon returning home late at night, around 11 PM, he discovered his house locks broken.

Valuables Worth Lakhs Stolen

Inside, the scene was one of disarray. Belongings were scattered, and it quickly became clear that valuable items were missing. Gurjar reported that the thieves stole approximately 1.5 kilograms of his wife's silver bangles (kadiyan) and other silver ornaments.

The stolen items also included a gold 'madaliya' (pendant) weighing around 5 grams. In addition to the jewelry, roughly ₹20,000 in cash was taken from the house, along with an estimated ₹10,000 from his daughters' piggy banks. The total value of the stolen goods is reportedly in the lakhs.

Police Investigation Underway

Following the discovery, the distraught homeowner immediately approached the Civil Lines police station to file a written complaint, urging prompt legal action. The Civil Lines police have registered a case based on Gurjar's report.

Authorities are now actively investigating the matter. Police teams are scouring the vicinity for any CCTV camera footage that might provide crucial clues. They are also working to identify and apprehend potential suspects involved in this audacious theft.
